Brewster Historical Society Museums Main Building, 3171 Main St Brewster Memorial Day through Columbus Day. Hours: 1-4 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. The Society’s main building houses four permanent galleries, special exhibition gallery and extensive documents research area accessible by appointment. The Society also maintains a restored 18th century windmill and house, and blacksmith shop at Windmill Village on grounds of Drummer Boy Park. Admission $5. Children under 12 free.
Cape Cod Museum of Natural History 869 Route 6A Brewster Opens middle of February. 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Sundays. Eighty acres abutting 300 acres of town-owned conservation land. Exhibits on flora and fauna of Cape Cod, including whales, sharks, indigenous birds, archaeological finds and coastal change. Renovated aquarium with over 65 freshwater and saltwater marine animals. Marshview Room with amphibian terrariums. Interactive nature activities and seasonal osprey cam, gift shop and nature trails, Naturescape Gallery.
