Built around 1780 by Winslow Crocker, a trader and land speculator in West Barnstable, was moved to its current location in 1936 by Mary Thacher, an antiques collector. Rooms are filled with Mary Thacher’s collection of furniture, including Jacobean, William and Mary, Queen Anne, and Chippendale styles. Owned and operated by Historic New England. Gain an intimate glance into 19th-century family life with the captain’s study. The 18th-century cellar kitchen features an extensive collection of early cooking, lighting and household items.
